“Dr. Rachel” is a graduate of Temple University and Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. She completed a fellowship and two-year pediatric residency in a combined program at Case Western Reserve University and Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, where she served as chief resident. She is on staff at Suburban Community Hospital, where she treats adults with various special needs and complex medical co-morbidities. Dr. Rachel also sees patients at Red Lion Surgicenter, is certified in pediatric advanced life support, and has an Anesthesia Restricted II Permit.
Dr. Rachel is an adjunct clinical instructor of pediatric dentistry at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, YMCA board member, and she serves on the board for Temple Dental Alumni Association. She has been twice honored with the Edward Cook Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award, received the R. Ralph Bresler M.D. Memorial Award at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, and an award from American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Active in continuing dental education and philanthropy, Dr. Rachel serves as a faculty advisor for the annual Temple Dental Haiti Club annual Haiti mission trip, and works with the Pediatric Study Club on Special Olympics events at Villanova and Penn State Universities.
When the workday is done, Dr. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, trying out new, fun recipes, and singing (even though she really cannot sing, at all).
