Special Touch Dentistry is a dental practice dedicated to the delivery of oral health care to the adult special needs populations. This practice is unique in that:
• Each patient is provided a dental home so that they receive regular, not just episodic care, from staff with whom they may develop a relationship
• Patient and caregiver education is provided to ensure compliance and success with home care methods
• Care determination is made prior to any care rendered in accordance with a care continuum coordinated with the caregiver that fits the best type of care for the patient
• Depending on the type of care and anesthesia required, the patient is provided high quality oral health care in either a dental office or a state-certified surgical center
• Professional and auxiliary staff is trained for clinical, behavior and client care management methodologies
